Q. From your perspective, what is the business climate like today in APAC?
A. “The Australian business climate is seeing strong post-pandemic recovery.," said Jake Hannan, APAC Managing Director. "In the IT market, we continue to see companies planning for growth and maintaining their appetite to optimise their digital infrastructure as they move their technology to the cloud. Large trade shows and events have been back in full swing this year. Individuals across all industries seem excited to be out connecting face to face with other professionals and educating themselves on the latest technologies on the market”.
Q. What are you finding that customers and prospects are most concerned about?
A. “Cybersecurity is currently a big topic amongst our Australian clients. Every week in the media," said Jake Hannan, APAC Managing Director. "We are seeing large enterprise companies suffering from breaches and cyber attacks, with Optus and Medibank being some of the recent high-profile cases. The conversation is starting to spread throughout small and medium size businesses with clients concerned about not only the financial impact but the effect it has on their reputations and trust from their customer base. These smaller companies sometimes feel left behind with the majority of cybersecurity platform providers focused on large enterprise organisations. Over the past few weeks, Pro Cloud SaaS has been working on an inclusive cybersecurity package that is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses, no matter how mature their security posture may be. This solutions bundle is designed to review their current digital environment, educate them on vulnerabilities and provide them with a tailored plan to protect their business. Q. The company started in Australia. What do you think were the primary reasons for such explosive growth that quickly spread globally?
A. “Comparing Australia to the United States, most large companies are spread between two major cities (Sydney and Melbourne), said Jake Hannan, APAC Managing Director. "Starting the business in Sydney gave us great resources for networking, industry events and access to IT decision-makers all within 30 minutes of our location. This was a catalyst to quickly get the ProCloudSaaS brand out to market and build a trusted reputation among our prospective clients. Having worked in the SaaS space before starting ProCloudSaaS, we were able to use our existing vendor relationships to build out our technology portfolio and collaborate on opportunities with partners that already had a footprint and client references across APAC.”
